It's cold out. It happened all of a sudden. Sort of snuck up on me, but it looks like it's hear to stay.
That smell in the air and the crunching of the leaves has got me thinking about where I'd like to be this evening.
In a cabin like this:
Sipping a warm cup of apple cider, curled up with the babe on a couch in front of a fire like this:
With a dog by my side like this:
Or maybe like this:
with no plans for tomorrow except to wake up and sit on a porch that overlooks a lake like this:
Mmmm....maybe another Saturday night....

Oh, wow, that all looks awesome (except for the snow - ew!)
I felt that way about the snow until I spent a glorious new year in Vermont with the babe. The snow was so soft and fun there!
Eh. I've done snow, having lived in PA, NJ, VA and DC for many years. I still shiver thinking of those 6 a.m. mornings waiting knee-deep in PA snow for the damn school bus. And falling off the ski lift in Vermont. But I suppose if I had someone sexy next to me and I was in bed rather than outside *in* the snow, I might have a different perspective on it.
